At Gueuzerie Tilquin in Rebecq-Bierghes (Chaussée Maieur Habils 110) there will be plenty going on as well. Blender/Owner Pierre Tilquin and crew always put on a good show, and here are there plans for this year’s Toer de Geuze: “At the occasion of the Toer de Geuze 2017, it’s open-doors weekend at Gueuzerie Tilquin, on the 6th and 7th of May 2017. Everyone is welcome. The entry is free. It is possible to get a free guided tour of the blendery (in French, Dutch, or English) and to taste our beers at a bar and buy them at a shop. There will be good food and a bouncy castle… All you need to have a great time with friends and family.”

“Gueuzerie Tilquin offers to all visitors making the guided tour a free glass of lambic. At the blendery, all our products can be tasted: the two types of Gueuze (Gueuze à l’ancienne and Gueuze on draft) and Quetsche à l’ancienne (plums lambic refermented in bottle) and Mûre à l’ancienne (blackberry lambic refermented in bottle), the typical Tilquin blend of lambics, Meerts and Faro, and Stout Rullquin on draft. Who is hungry, at Tilquin can find pig on the spit prepared by butcher Fisette, or a true craft burger from Chez Roger, or a cheese plate of farm raw milk cheeses from Ferme Le Bailli, or a slice of bread with cottage cheese, or finally eel from Chimay on a slice of bread. For the youngest, there is also a bouncy castle. All Tilquin products will be on sale at the shop. There will be a parking area opposite to the blendery. Everybody welcome!”
