Museum of Belgian Beers in Lustin open house is Sunday, May 8

The “Musée des Bières Belges” in Lustin, Namur Province, is open for a flea market, beer tastings, and visits on Sunday, May 8. This special museum has only been open to the public twice a year in the last several years, so this is a great opportunity to go and check out its massive selection of beers, beer glassware, and other breweriana. The museum has over 20,000 different Belgian bottled beers and 20,000 glasses, including many old and rare ones.

I wrote about the museum here, after a great visit in 2014. The museum bar, with 1,000 different beers, will be open, and there will be beer tastings of local beers during the event, which runs from 9 am to 3 pm. Vendors will be on site selling various Belgian breweriana, and food will be available.

This is sure to be a unique event at a very unique place. The museum, at Rue de la Gare 19, can be reached by taking a train to Lustin and by walking just 100 meters.

The museum’s website is here
